Discovering anew the places I thought I knew

About us

GravelGranada is an altruistic project that was born with the aim of promoting the gravel culture around Granada Capital.

Born in 2019, GravelGranada has been exploring trails and sharing photos and tracks for the gravel community, demonstrating that the province of Granada is one of the best territories for gravel in Southern Spain.

Social Ride

More and more people are opting for gravel cycling.

Every week, we organize gatherings to go cycling around Granada. Search our Telegram channel to connect with more people passionate about gravel or follow us on KOMOOT to find out about gravel routes around Granada.

Collaborative Project

GravelGranada offers the experience of building a united cycling community in a friendly environment.

If you are passionate about gravel and are part of an event or project and wish to collaborate with us, we will be happy to hear from you. Any idea that helps to grow this community will always be welcome.

Exploring
areas

GravelGranada is constantly working to offer alternatives to the most common routes. Searching for trails in less popular areas is one of our objectives. In this way we promote areas with less cycling traffic, which are still very close to the capital and within reach of any cyclist.

Wide range of routes

More than 11,000 kilometers of available routes and many more to discover. We are continuously working to offer new routes.

Professionals and non-professionals

Routes for all types of users, professionals, travelers or amateurs. The number of kilometers available allows for different configurations.

Why Granada?

The province of Granada contains a diversity of landscapes: in just a few kilometers, it is possible to go from high mountain passes to deserts, passing through meadows and beautiful agricultural roads.

Some recommendations

respects the water

Do not bathe in aquifers if you are wearing sunscreen and do not wash your bicycle in the water.

aguaicon agua
don’t waste water

Do not bathe or ride your bicycle in springs and pools where livestock drink.

BEWARE OF FIRE

Respect the fire season: during this period you are not allowed to make camp fire.

Don’t be stingy

Saying thank you is fine but paying for the services offered is better. With your money you help hoteliers and farmers to continue their business, which is a necessity in small towns.

do not litter

Be careful with the trash you carry with you; it may fly off and get in the way.

socialize

If you are temporarily in Granada, remember that you can meet and socialize with the cycling community.
